The owner of three Ohio-based home healthcare companies was convicted on all 13 charges against her in a Medicaid fraud scheme.
Sally Njume-Tatsing, 47, formerly of Pickerington, Ohio, inflated the hours of services provided, billed for registered nurses when licensed practical nurses completed the care, and billed for care for patients who were either deceased or ineligible to receive Medicaid, according to a Sept. 23 Justice Department news release.
She was indicted by a federal grand jury in June 2023 and charged with one count of healthcare fraud and 12 counts of making false healthcare statements, according to the release.
