Information technology company Wolters Kluwer is partnering with Microsoft to work on digital health innovation through Microsoft's Azure Cloud Platform.
Initially, the collaboration will focus on Wolters Kluwer's Digital Health Architect solution. Digital Health Architect integrates with Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory and Azure Cosmos DB. The tool is available on Microsoft's commercial marketplace, according to a Nov. 14 Wolters Kluwer news release.
The partnership builds upon Wolters Kluwer's current line of digital health solutions: UpToDate, Lexicomp and Emmi.
"Combining the power of the Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions with Wolters Kluwer's trusted, expert health consumer content will enable healthcare organizations to provide better care and service to the communities they serve. This is a step forward in the industry as we continue to advance the capabilities of Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare and partner closely with leaders like Wolters Kluwer to empower clinicians and patients," Tom McGuiness, corporate vice president of global healthcare and life sciences at Microsoft, said.
