Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center is launching a center dedicated to artificial intelligence.
VUMC, in partnership with the Department of Biomedical Informatics, is creating Advance — or AI Discovery and Vigilance to Accelerate Innovation and Clinical Excellence — to foster innovation and excellence in both research and healthcare, according to a March 6 news release from VUMC.
The center will do this by employing data analytics, machine learning, predictive modeling and generative AI to enable healthcare professionals, scientists and patients to make well-informed decisions.
