UCSF names 2 digital health companies innovation award winners

The UCSF Rosenman Institute, the innovation arm of San Francisco-based UCSF Health, named Welfie and Moving Analytics as its Adapt program awardees.

Moving Analytics is a telehealth company providing cardiovascular prevention programs. Welfie works with K-12 schools to provide health screening tools to students.

The Adapt program works to identify technologies addressing healthcare disparities by partnering startups with established healthcare organizations, according to a March 15 UCSF news release.

The two companies will be awarded $100,000 in funding and partnership opportunities with Blue Shield of California, Evernorth Health Services, OptumLabs and UnitedHealth Group.
