Healthcare organizations are excited about generative AI, with more than two-thirds in the process of adopting the technology, but concerns remain, McKinsey & Co. reported.
Here are the five biggest challenges for healthcare organizations pursuing or implementing generative AI, according to the management consultant's March survey of 72 provider, payer and health tech executives published July 25:
1. Risk concerns and considerations: 83%
2. Lack of capabilities: 56%
3. Unclear value: 50%
4. Insufficient data or tech infrastructure: 49%
5. Difficulty prioritizing: 29%
