Charleston, S.C.-based MUSC Health has a new AI agent named "Emily."
Emily helps answer calls in the health systems patient access center, according to an Aug. 28 news release from MUSC Health. The AI agent, powered by SoundHound AI, can also help patients manage their appointments and get answers to nonclinical questions.
The AI agent is integrated within MUSC Health's Epic EHR system.
