Cleveland Clinic is joining the U.S. AI Safety Institute Consortium.
More than 200 leading AI stakeholders are joining the consortium, which was created by the Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology to help organizations create and implement reliable and secure AI, according to a Feb. 8 news release from Cleveland Clinic.
The consortium will unite AI developers and users, scholars, government and industry researchers, civil society organizations, state and local governments and nonprofits. Together, they will collaborate with counterparts from allied nations that play a role in establishing interoperable global safety standards, according to the release.
