Baptist Health to mentor Israeli health tech startups

Coral Gables-based Baptist Health South Florida has launched a program to develop health tech startups in partnership with an Israeli hospital.

The Hospital2Hospital initiative with Sheba Medical Center seeks early-stage companies aiming to reduce administrative tasks for healthcare providers and better manage staffing and supplies.

"With this partnership, we're highlighting the need for hospitals to create and implement new solutions for clinical and administrative excellence and a system of continuous improvement in patient care," said Mark Coticchia, vice president of innovations at Baptist Health, in a June 22 news release. "This includes investing in new technologies, streamlining processes, and fostering improved collaboration."

Applications are currently open to Israel-based companies looking to expand to the U.S. Winners will receive a $75,000 credit to work with Baptist Health.
