Atlanta-based SunLink Health Systems has completed the sale of its Memorial Hospital of Adel (Ga.) and Memorial Convalescent Center in Adel to The Hospital Authority of Tift County (Ga.) for approximately $8.35 million.
According to the release, SunLink used the $7.5 million in sale proceeds to pay down its senior credit facility to repay high-cost debt. The company expects to recognize an after tax gain of approximately $1.7 million, according to the release.
