Brockton, Mass.-based Signature Healthcare has signed off on its partnership between its Brockton Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, according to a report by Enterprise News.
Pending state approval, Brockton's teaching hospital affiliation with Boston's Tufts Medical Center will end, making Beth Israel its primary patient referral site. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The partnership is clinically focused with no plans for a merger with Beth Israel, which acquired Milton Hospital in January last year and has signed a letter of intent to acquire Jordan Hospital in Plymouth, Mass.
