Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and New London (N.H.) Hospital have submitted their affiliation agreement to the state attorney general's office, two months after hospital officials had said they'd hoped to ink the deal and send it for regulatory review, according to a report by the Valley News.
The hospitals hosted public hearings in March and said they had intended to file a signed agreement with regulators within a week, but "we had a few additional things that needed to be hammered out on both sides," New London Hospital President and CEO Bruce King told the Valley News.
The AG's office will now begin the 120-day review period, with an anticipated decision to be made by August. Financial details of the affiliation have not been disclosed publicly.
