Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare has acquired Pampa (Texas) Regional Medical Center from Signature Hospital Corp. in Houston, according to a Sacramento Bee report.
As part of the deal, Prime Healthcare will assume Pampa Regional's health plan contracts and review them to protect the financial viability of the hospital, according to the report. Additionally, Prime will offer employment to all of Pampa regional's employees and will continue its current charity care policies.
