Houston-based Nobilis Health has entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire Victory Healthcare Plano (Texas) Hospital.
Here are four things to know about the deal.
1. Nobilis will acquire the entire hospital for the assumption of $5.5 million in equipment leases and $7 million in bank debt, according to a news release. No cash will be exchanged in the transaction.
2. Nobilis CEO Chris Lloyd, said the acquisition "extends Nobilis' footprint and adds another premier facility to our growing portfolio."
3. Nobilis President Harry Fleming said the company expects the Plano facility to have an immediate positive impact on the revenues as Nobilis' case volumes continue to grow. He added, "Our financial and cash position continue to strengthen and we remain focused on organic growth, as well as evaluating a strong pipeline of highly accretive M&A opportunities."
4. This is not the only recent acquisition for Nobilis. Last month, Nobilis announced it had entered into an agreement to acquire Victory Medical Center Houston, a surgical hospital located near the Texas Medical Center.
