Holy Cross Hospital Joins Sinai Health System in Chicago

Holy Cross Hospital is joining Sinai Health System, effective Jan. 16.

The Chicago-based organizations have been working toward this merger since they signed a letter of intent in September. In December, the Vatican and the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board approved the merger.

As a member of Sinai Health, Holy Cross Hospital will remain a Catholic hospital and fully comply with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Ethical and Religious Directives for Healthcare.

Sinai Health is now comprised of seven member organizations in Chicago: Mount Sinai Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital, Sinai Children's Hospital, Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, Sinai Medical Group, Sinai Community Institute and Sinai Urban Health Institute.
