Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare has completed the sale of Specialty Hospital of Jacksonville (Fla.), a long-term acute care hospital, to Garland, Texas-based Curahealth Hospitals.
"Specialty will be the highest profile example to date of our unique approach to creating patient centered care, and it's consistent with transformative projects we've successfully undertaken across the country," said Ken McGee, president of Curahealth.
With the transaction complete, Curahealth operates 10 hospitals across six states.
