Harrison Medical Center in Washington May Merge With Larger Health System

Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Wash., may be close to completing a partnership agreement with a larger healthcare system, according to a Kitsap Peninsula Business Journal report.

Although the hospital has been independent for 94 years, during a monthly luncheon at the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce, hospital CEO Scott Bosch said the hospital's board of directors and an advisory committee have spent a great deal of the year recruiting and evaluating possible merger partners, according to the report.

"We're looking at three organizations right now, and they're all non-profit," said Mr. Bosch. Neither additional details nor a timeline for a possible affiliation were given.
