Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Ark., and a financially-troubled Fulton County (Ark.) Hospital are eyeing a management agreement, according to a Baxter Bulletin report.
Under the proposal, Fulton County hospital would operate under the Baxter Regional umbrella. According to BRMC CEO Ron Peterson, the hospital plans to first manage FCH for two years before entering into a lease agreement.
During the first two years, BRMC would receive a $15,000 fee from FCH along with salary and benefits for a CEO to be chosen by BRMC — a package that rounds out to approximately $300,000 per year.
