The board of trustees at Shawano (Wis.) Medical Center has approved an agreement to integrate with Appleton, Wis.-based ThedaCare, according to a The Business Journal report.
ThedaCare's board approved the agreement last week, which will be effective Jan. 30, according to the report.
Under the agreement, ThedaCare will build a replacement facility in Shawano, with both ThedaCare and Shawano committing funds to the project. Planning for the new facility is expected to begin later this year.
