La Crosse, Wis.-based Gundersen Lutheran Health System will manage St. Joseph's Health Services in Hillsboro, Wis., as part of a plan to create a closer affiliation between the two groups, according to a La Crosse Tribune report.
Deb Smith, who currently oversees Gundersen's Onalaska Clinic, will become St. Joseph's CEO, effective Nov. 1.
The partnership is a first step toward exploring other opportunities in the future, Ms. Smith said in the report.
