Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan, Mo., has merged with Cape Girardeau, Mo.-based Southeast Health, according to a news release from the health system.
The hospital will be renamed Southeast Health of Ripley County.
As part of the deal, Southeast will assume management of the 30-bed hospital and will pay $350,000 each year to lease the facility. Southeast is also financing a renovation project for the facility as well as funding the purchase of new equipment.
The two groups began exploring an affiliation in August.
