Wenatchee (Wash.) Valley Medical Center has announced a new agreement with the Douglas County Hospital District #2 in Waterville, Wash., to have the medical center take over and provide healthcare services at the district's Waterville Clinic.
The Waterville Clinic will close on Oct. 31 and Wenatchee Valley Medical Center: Waterville will open at that location on Nov. 1.
The Waterville Clinic has been affected by low patient volume and changes in the healthcare industry, and without the agreement, medical services in Waterville would have ended by the end of this year.
Wenatchee Valley Medical Center and the Waterville Clinic have had a relationship in the past, and this agreement expands the partnership.
