East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Ga., and Twin City (Ga.) Family Health Center have announced a strategic partnership agreement that will allow the primary service clinic to continue to provide healthcare to rural areas, according to a Savannah Morning News report.
"An important component of our mission is to serve our community," said Bob Bigley, president and CEO of East Georgia Regional to the Savannah Morning News. "Partnering with the clinic will allow us to serve our patients in that area in the most efficient and convenient way possible."
Nurse practitioner Lauren Shaw will take over as the primary medical provider for the clinic. She replaces Anthony Davis, MD, who is leaving to pursue medical interests outside of primary care, according to the report.
