Stafford, Va.-based Meridian Independent Physician Group is planning on opening primary care practices across the area later this year, according to The Free Lance-Star.
Construction is underway on the group's newest location in Caroline County, Va., for four physicians. The location will also include a dental office. Another location is scheduled to open in Stafford in 2016, according to the report.
Meridian Independent Physician Group was founded in 2014 by Bob Alexander, the former CEO of Fredericksburg, Va.-based Pratt Medical Center, according to The Free Lance-Star.
