California insurer Health Net is partnering with healthcare providers around Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley to form accountable care organizations, according to a San Fernando Business Journal report.
Health Net has launched a new managed care plan and will form provider-based ACOs to care for patients enrolled in the plan, according to the report.
The plan will include coverage for complementary medical services and incentives for healthy habits. Health Net estimates premiums will run around 25 percent less than its comparable plans.
