Tucson Medical Center, 150 Physicians Form ACO

Tucson (Ariz.) Medical Center, more than 150 physicians and three community health centers have joined to form Arizona Connected Care, an accountable care organization, according to an Arizona Daily Star report.

The ACO will begin by treating Medicare patients in April as part of the Medicare Shared Savings Program. Approximately 15,000 to 20,000 Medicare beneficiaries will be assigned to the ACO.
