Denver-based DaVita HealthCare Partners, a national independent medical group and kidney care provider, announced plans Monday to acquire The Everett (Wash.) Clinic, a 500-physician group.
"Our goals have always been both to transform care for our patients and to create a workplace that makes staff and providers feel excited about coming to work each day," Rick Cooper, CEO of The Everett Clinic, said in a statement. "We believe we have found the partner that will help make our vision a reality."
The acquisition is pending stakeholders' approval and a final agreement. The two entities did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
