The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati has acquired the breast surgery physician practice of Jennifer Manders, MD, effective April 18, according to a hospital news release.
As part of this affiliation, The Christ Hospital will employ Dr. Manders and the employees of her practice, which will assume the new practice name The Christ Hospital Surgical Oncology Associates. Dr. Manders will maintain her current office location.
Dr. Manders is a board-certified surgeon who completed the highly competitive Susan G. Komen Multidisciplinary Breast Fellowship at Northwestern University. When she moved to Cincinnati in 2005, she established the Tristate's first oncoplastic surgery program, a relatively new approach to breast cancer surgery that improves both the medical and cosmetic results for women by combining breast and cosmetic surgery into one operation.
