Since its 2023 bankruptcy restructuring, Envision Healthcare has rebuilt its leadership team while continuing clinical operations. The company maintains its vision is to become "America's leading medical group."

Operations
- Envision Healthcare is a medical group based in Nashville, Tenn.
- The company manages physicians and clinicians working in health systems across the U.S. through its Envision Physician Services network.
- Envision manages physicians and clinicians who practice across multiple specialties: anesthesiology, critical care medicine, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, radiology and women's and children's medicine.
- The company does not publicly disclose the states in which it operates, but it currently is hiring healthcare professionals in Texas, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Illinois, WIsconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, New Jersey, New York and New Hampshire, according Envision's website.
- In July, Envision told Becker's that although it had ceased operating in California, a settlement with the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, which had sued the company over its business model, was not a contributing factor in the company's decision. Envision said it had been decreasing its footprint in the state for several years.
- According to the company's "2023 Clinical Report," published June 27, Envision manages 16,000 clinicians at 800 locations.

Finance
- In May 2023, Envision announced it had filed for bankruptcy. The company's ambulatory surgery division, AmSurg, was split from Envision Physician Services as part of restructuring. AmSurg now operates under new ownership.
- UnitedHealthcare was ordered to pay Envision $91 million in May 2023 after an underpayment dispute went through arbitration.
Leadership
- Envision formed a new board of directors in January. Its members are Steve Nelson, Fredrik Eliasson, Mark Stolper, Loretta Cecil, Harold Paz, MD, and Debbie Osteen.
- Envision named Jason Owen president and CEO in April; he previously had served as president and CEO of BlueSpring.
- Envision appointed Dominic Andreano as the company's general counsel in June; he previously had served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at Pediatrix.
