Three Health Systems Receive Credit Downgrades

Three health systems have received credit downgrades in the last 30 days, according to a report by HFA Partners.

The health systems receiving the downgrades include:

•    Charleston (W.Va.) Area Medical Center — From A2 to A3 (Moody's)
•    Davis Health System (Elkins, W.Va.) — From Baa3 to Ba1 (Moody's)
•    West Penn Allegheny Health System (Pittsburgh) — From BB- to B+ (S&P)

Four health systems received credit updgrades during the same time period.
