Non-Profit Hospitals and Health Systems With the Highest Moody's Ratings

Moody’s has maintained a generally negative outlook for not-for-profit hospitals and health systems, but some organizations have maintained relatively high ratings, between AAA and AA3. Moody's rates AAA to be the highest quality, with the smallest degree of risk, while AA1, AA2 and AA3 are high quality, with a very low credit risk, but "their susceptibility to long-term risks appears somewhat greater." Here are Moody's credit ratings, as of Dec. 31, 2009, the most recent date when comprehensive data were available on Moody's rankings for all hospitals.
