Tesla invests in health clinic for employees

Following similar moves by Apple and Amazon, Tesla is the latest technology company investing in its own employee-exclusive health clinics.

In a third-quarter earnings call, Tesla CEO Elon Musk touted the quality health services provided at the company's new health clinics for employees, according to CNBC.

Tesla's medical clinics are staffed by physicians and nurses who offer "immediate first-class healthcare," according to Mr. Musk.

The medical clinics are run by an orthopedic surgeon, whom Mr. Musk did not name. He also didn't name the medical center.

Tesla joins a growing number of tech companies providing on-site medical care to employees. Amazon plans to open clinics next year, and Apple is hiring for its AC Wellness health centers, which will be exclusively for employees.
