Buffalo, N.Y.-based Sheehan Health Network has started the elimination of 147 employees as its hospital prepares to close, according to a Buffalo Business First report.
The system, which includes the 40-bed Sheehan Memorial Hospital, started the eliminations April 3 with the layoff of 100 employees.
The system has still not provided the date when the hospital will officially shut down.
