HRO Forum selected Lorraine Booth, Fountain Valley, Calif.-based MemorialCare Health System's chief human resources officer, as a 2018 Leaders of Distinction Award winner.
In her category, Ms. Booth was honored as Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year for Nonprofit Organizations.
Ms. Booth has worked at MemorialCare for 27 years on culture initiatives, succession planning and benefits design, among other efforts.

"For example, through innovative leadership and pivotal organizational strategy, Lorraine spearheaded redesign of our management evaluation tools and process from an annual look-backward to a forward-focused process, resulting in more-timely feedback, goal management and mentorship."
