Marin General Healthcare District, which operates Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, Calif., has approved a new, three-year contract with the California Nurses Association/National Nurses United, which represents the approximately 520 nurses at the hospital, according to a Marin Independent Journal report.
The contract provides an annual 3 percent pay increase for the nurses and does not include a previously proposed provision that would have decreased health and retirement coverage for the nurses.
