Big Tech companies Apple, Amazon and Microsoft dominated the 2022 "World's Most Admired Companies" list released by Fortune on Feb. 2. Only five healthcare companies cracked the top 50 spots, while 27 other health giants sat on the complete list of 333.
To create the list, Fortune and management consultancy Korn Ferry sifted through 1,500 top global companies to come up with the top 333. The top 50 companies were ranked through a survey of 3,740 industry experts and placed on an "All-Star" list.
These five healthcare companies were ranked among the 50 All-Stars within Fortune's list:
- Pfizer (4th)
- Johnson & Johnson (17th)
- CVS Health (27th)
- Danaher (37th)
- Merck (41st)
These 27 companies made in onto the "World's Most Admired Companies" list but fell outside of the top 50:
