Working Mother Magazine has named the "100 Best Companies" for working mothers for the 30th consecutive year, according to The Advisory Board Company.
The 10 health systems that made this year's list include:
- Baptist Health South Florida (Coral Gables)
- Bon Secours Virginia Health System (Richmond)
- Cardinal Health (Dublin, Ohio)
- Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
- Moffitt Cancer Center (Tampa, Fla.)
- Northwestern Memorial HealthCare (Chicago)
- Scripps Health (San Diego)
- TriHealth (Cincinnati)
- University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics (Madison, Wis.)
- WellStar Health System (Marietta, Ga.)
To be eligible to apply for inclusion on the list, companies had to have at least 500 employees in the U.S., offer at least one week of full paid maternity leave to all female full-time exempt employees who have been with the organization for a minimum of one year and offer some type of flex benefits.
Applicants were also evaluated based on their responses to more than 450 questions, including those that address their advancement programs, child care, flexibility policies, leave policies and workforce representation, according to The Advisory Board Company. Roughly 200 companies applied.
