Bruce Klockars, FACHE, has been named interim CEO of Saint Joseph Health System in Lexington, Ky., and senior vice president of divisional operations for parent company Catholic Health Initiatives, effective May 3, according to a hospital news release.
Mr. Klockars previously served as president of Saint Joseph Health System's Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Ky., and Saint Joseph – Mount Sterling (Ky.).
He temporarily replaces Gene Woods, who is leaving May 2 for a position as executive vice president and COO of Irving, Texas-based CHRISTUS Health.
