Irving, Texas-based CHRISTUS Health has named Eugene "Gene" A. Woods executive vice president and COO effective no later than June 1, according to a hospital news release.
He replaces Ernie Sadau, who became president and CEO of CHRISTUS on March 1.
Mr. Woods previously served as CEO of Lexington, Ky.-based Saint Joseph Health System, which is part of Catholic Health Initiatives.
