Danbury (Conn.) Hospital continues its search for a new CFO, following the departure of former CFO William Roe, who is expected to go to trail in Feb. 2011 on charges he defrauded the hospital of more than $100,000, according to a News Times report.
Hospital officials have been conducting an extensive search for the right candidate and have now narrowed the pool to a single candidate, according to the report.
Negotiations are currently underway. The new CFO is expected to assist Danbury and New Milford Hospitals as they begin operating jointly under Western Connecticut Healthcare. The new CFO will serve as CFO for the health system and both hospitals, according to the report.
