Sharon (Conn.) Hospital has named Kimberly A. Lumia, the hospital's chief nursing officer, as president and CEO, according to a Republican American report.
Ms. Lumia will succeed Charles Therrien, who left the hospital in July to become CEO of Maine Coast Memorial in Ellsworth, Maine. Ms. Lumia has served as CEO since Mr. Therrien's departure and has focused her attention on enhancement of quality initiatives, patient care, growth initiatives and physician and staff relations.
Ms. Lumia previously served in various capacities at the Hospital of St. Raphael's in New Haven, Conn., and at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix.
