Yuma Regional Medical Center in Arizona Seeks Community Input on New Cancer Center

Yuma (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center announced the launch of a community initiative to gain input on a new cancer center the hospital plans to break ground on in the spring.

The "Dream Big" initiative gives community members the opportunity to share their desires for cancer care through a hospital website. The hospital will use the community's ideas and its own plans to develop the details of the new cancer center.

Preliminary plans include a healing garden, an education center and patient navigators as well as a focus on genetics research and targeted, personalized therapies, according to the release.
