University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, Mercy in Ohio Form Cancer Care Partnership

Lorain, Ohio-based Mercy and University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland announced a new partnership for cancer services to provide care close to home and improve outcomes for cancer patients in Lorain County.

Under the partnership, Mercy's patients will have access to UH Seidman Cancer Center's cancer experts, advanced treatments and clinical trials close to home. UH Seidman Cancer Center, which is part of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, will provide cancer care, clinical trials and specialist consultations at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin, Ohio, and Mercy Cancer Center in Elyria, Ohio.

UH Seidman Cancer Center will provide more complex procedures at its main facility in Cleveland.
