St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, Ill., announced the opening of its new Prairie Heart Institute facility and its cardiovascular diagnostic services department.
The department includes a new cardiac catheterization lab (pictured right) with a cardio X-ray system and cardiac nuclear medicine camera.
Prairie Heart Institute is a cardiovascular network of hospitals offering cardiovascular clinics. The new PHI facility on St. Mary's Hospital's campus will be staffed by board-certified cardiologists and heart surgeons.
