Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Louisiana to Complete Heart Institute in December

Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette, La., plans to complete its $10 million cardiovascular center in mid-December, according to an Advertiser report.

The hospital is converting its third floor into The Heart Institute at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. The facility will include a dedicated cardiovascular operating room suite, a cardiovascular intensive care unit, 20 inpatient and outpatient beds dedicated to cardiovascular patients and a hybrid OR for catheterization procedures and cardiovascular surgeries.
