MidMichigan Health in Midland announced its MidMichigan Medical Center-Clare plans to open a new cardiac catheterization laboratory in April 2013.
The hospital broke ground on the expansion in early October. The hospital will add a 52-foot by 13-foot space that will serve as a sterile storage area by December. The hospital will then convert an existing third operating room in the surgical suites to the cath lab.
