Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based Saint Francis Hospital and Health Centers has opened its new $1 million cancer center in Poughkeepsie, according to a Poughkeepsie Journal report.
The 6,500-square-foot outpatient center relocated from the hospital's atrium to its Medical Arts Pavilion. The facility offers surgical, radiation and chemotherapy treatments as well as educational and social support services.
The center features a new infusion center for chemotherapy and blood transfusions, a chemotherapy pharmacy, consultation rooms, exam rooms and a supportive services room.
