Lompoc (Calif.) Valley Medical Center is planning a new radiation oncology center, according to a Santa Maria Times report.
The Lompoc Radiation Oncology Center would be housed in a new 16,625-square-foot facility that will be operated by Coastal Radiology, which has the option of purchasing the property from the hospital or keeping it as a lease arrangement, according to the report.
The radiation center will encompass 4,500 square feet of the building's 9,500-square-foot bottom floor and will include a 1,600-square-foot single-patient radiation vault. The facility will also include 15 patient examination rooms and office space for the hospital.
