Orlando Health Opens Cancer Facility at Recently Acquired Health Central

Orlando (Fla.) Health announced the opening of a new cancer facility at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Fla.

The new 16,500-square-foot cancer center is across the street from the hospital and houses a linear accelerator. The facility offers full-time radiation oncology and medical oncology services, including radiation treatments, infusion treatments and chemotherapy.

The cancer facility's opening follows Orlando Health's $181.3 million acquisition of Health Central in April.
