Dallas-based Baylor Health Care System is naming its new cancer hospital Baylor T. Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital in honor of a $10 million gift from T. Boone Pickens to support Baylor's initiatives, according to a Dallas Business Journal report.
The 175,000-square-foot cancer hospital opened in February and is adjacent to the Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. Baylor also opened a 467,000-square-foot outpatient cancer facility last year.
