Marietta, Ga.-based WellStar Health System plans to finalize a $16 million-$20 million acquisition of physician group Solaris Heart & Vascular on Nov. 1, according to a Cherokee Tribune report.
Under the agreement, Solaris Heart & Vascular would dissolve and its nine physicians would join WellStar Medical Group, Cardiovascular Medicine. While the acquisition cost has not been finalized, the $16 million-$20 million price will include approximately $10 million to buy the Solaris building in Marietta.
